Tickets are officially on sale for two of the most anticipated screenings at this year’s Edmonton International Film Festival (EIFF), and we’re thrilled to share the news!
🎬 Opening Night Gala: Singhs in the Ring
Thu, Sep 25 | 6:30 PM | Landmark Cinemas 9 City Centre
Kicking off EIFF in style, Singhs in the Ring will serve as the Opening Night Gala Film. This powerful documentary dives into the legacy of Stampede Wrestling icon Gama Singh and the journey of his son Raj Singh, exploring family, identity, and resilience in the face of adversity.
The screening will be followed by a special Q&A with Gama Singh, Raj Singh, director Akash Sherman, and producer Shane Fennessey, making it an unforgettable night for both film lovers and wrestling fans. And because it’s a gala, the celebration continues with an after party right after the screening. Note: tickets sold separately
🎶 Music & Film: Bif Naked
Fri, Sep 26 | 6:30 PM | Metro Cinema at Garneau Theatre

The following night, the festival brings the spotlight to Canadian rock icon Bif Naked with the documentary Bif Naked. Known for her fierce independence and trailblazing career, Bif’s story is as inspiring as her music.
To make the evening even more special, Bif will take the stage for an intimate acoustic set alongside longtime collaborator and guitarist Peter Karroll immediately after the screening.
✨ Two nights, two can’t-miss experiences at EIFF. Whether you’re here for wrestling legends, rock icons, or simply unforgettable cinema, September 25–26 is your weekend at the movies.
